Spiders Movie Review 2000

Throwback to the "big bug" sci-fi horrors of the 1950s also borrows heavily from "The X-Files." College reporter Marci (Parrilla) and a couple of her pals sneak into a desert military base in time to witness the secret landing of a space shuttle. On board is a spider that has been injected with alien DNA and is doing absolutely disgusting things. It all ends with an arachnid attack on Phoenix! Can the city be saved?
