Elizabeth (Dench) played sax with the all-girl swing band, The Blonde Bombshells, during WWII. With the urgings of granddaughter Joan (Findlay) and drummer Patrick (Holm)--who played in drag--Elizabeth is encouraged to reunite the band members. If they can find them and get them to agree. Good cast but the charm is on the low-burner and rather than swinging, it's more a sedate fox-trot.
