Hammers over the Anvil Movie Review 1991

Young Alan Marshall (Outhred) has a case of hero worship for local horse trainer East Driscoll (Crowe). But East has also caught the eye of the upper-class (and married) English beauty, Grace McAlister (Rampling), with whom he is having an affair, and which Alan witnesses. But East wants Grace more than just part-time and is determined to force her to run away with him--with disastrous consequences.
