So what would artist Vincent Van Gogh do if he suddenly found himself alive (a century after his death) in modern-day Los Angeles and discovered that his paintings, which were considered ugly and worthless in his lifetime, were collected by the wealthy and worth a fortune? Well, he might decide to steal them back, sell them himself, and give the money to other struggling artists. And he might also find himself falling in love with a pretty art student who inspires him to paint new masterpieces.
