Foreign Land Movie Review 1995

Twenty-one-year-old Paco is an impoverished student living in Sao Paulo who naively agrees to take a suitcase to Lisbon for shady businessman Igor (Melo) and give it to his compatriot, Miguel (Borges). But Paco discovers Miguel has been murdered--leading him to the dead man's girlfriend, unhappy Brazilian exile, Alex (Torres). The two bond while seeking to avoid the newly arrived Igor and Miguel's other treacherous associates. Portuguese with subtitles.
