Dull telepic on controversial subject that features real-life interviews, which only serve to cut the story's momentum. Dennis Barrie (Woods) is the director of the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center who decides to book an exhibition of Robert Mapplethorpe photographs in 1990. He gets indicted on obscenity charges and decides on a court fight based on First Amendment rights though it costs him personally.
