The Gay Desperado Movie Review 1936

Mexican bandit Pablo (Carrillo), who styles himself after American screen gangsters, kidnaps singing caballero Chivo (Martini) and heiress Jane (Lupino). The reason everybody is so gay is that they're always singing in this goofy musical comedy.
