Life According to Muriel Movie Review 1997

After her husband abandons her, Laura takes 9-year-old daughter Muriel and leaves Buenos Aires for the peace of the countryside. Only they lose all their stuff in an accident and are forced to rely on Mirta--another single mom who owns a run-down hotel. The women bond and start to fix up the place when Muriel's dad shows up wanting a second chance. Spanish with subtitles.
