Tales of the Kama Sutra: The Perfumed Garden Movie Review 1998

Not particularly erotic story centers on Americans Michael and Lisa, who have a rocky romantic relationship. Lisa follows Michael to India where he is helping to restore the erotic sculptures of Khajuraho. However, Michael's lust is aroused by a mysterious Indian woman (Kumar), who happens to resemble the statue he's repairing, which leads to a retelling of one Kama Sutra story about a royal courtesan set 1000 years earlier.
