A Scandal in Paris Movie Review 1946

Based on the real-life escapades of 19th-century criminal Francois Eugene Vidocq. Vidocq (Sanders) escapes from prison, briefly joins Napoleon's army, and catches the eye of Therese (Hasso), whose father is an important official. Under an assumed name, Vidocq joins the Paris police force in order to perpetrate his biggest crime. Instead, thanks to Therese's love, he goes straight. Sanders does an excellent job.
