Remembering the Cosmos Flower Movie Review 1999

Teenager Akiko and her mother return to their small town home in Japan after seven years in South America. Akiko has contracted AIDS--a fact the entire community is aware of. While Akiko tries to cope with her illness, her childhood playmate Natsumi confronts the ignorance and fear of the village. Japanese with subtitles.
