Sergio (Sands) is an 18th-century nobleman who discovers his fiance was once the king's mistress. He abandons worldly pursuits to become a monk and find some peace but temptation follow him. Based on the Tolstoy story "Father Sergius." Sands' voice was dubbed by Italian actor Giancarlo Giannini. Italian with subtitles.
