Nunsense Movie Review 1993

Taped performance of the long-running Broadway play, made for the A&E cable. The story has to do with a fictional revue put on to benefit the Little Sisters of Hoboken who have fallen victim to a terrible bout of food poisoning. The Reverend Mother Superior Sister Mary Regina (McClanahan) is in charge. The target audience is those who have had the benefit of a Catholic education. Many of the jokes and routines are lost on everyone else.
