Whity (Kaufman) is the illegitimate mulatto son of the wealthy white man for whom he works. An equally exploited barmaid (Schygulla) convinces Whity his one chance for freedom is to murder his masters. Kaufman was one of Fassbinder's boyfriends and the personal tensions and obsessions of their relationship spilled onto the screen. German with subtitles.
