Jeanne and the Perfect Guy Movie Review 1998

Jeanne (Ledoyen) is a hopeless romantic looking for her perfect love and having a lot of sex as she "auditions" her would-be Romeos. Then she meets Olivier (Demy) in the subway and decides he's the one. Only Olivier tells Jeanne that he has AIDS. Oh yeah, and it's a musical, with everyone breaking into song and dancing through the Parisian streets. It's gawky romanticism is strangely appealing and Ledoyen has a lot of charisma. French with subtitles.
