Francesco (Gassman) is a young Italian businessman married to the equally busy Marta (d'Aloja) and living a fashionable life in Rome. When he learns an aunt has left him a building in Istanbul, he leaves to check out his inheritance. What Francesco discovers is that he now possesses a traditional Turkish bath and that the family his aunt lived with and employed is eager for him to stay. Mysterious Istanbul begins to work its magic as does Francesco's unexpected (and mutual) growing attraction to the family's son, Mehmet (Gunsur). Of course, Marta does eventually show up. Italian and Turkish with subtitles.
