The Virginian Movie Review 1999

Yet another remake (this one unremarkable but watchable) of Owen Wister's 1902 novel. Pullman (who also directed) is the cowboy of the title, who is out for a brutal brand of justice against an unscupulous rancher. But his methods upset his schoolmarm sweetie (Lane).
