Angel Movie Review 1982

Angel (Maniatis) falls for a sailor (Xanthos) who promises a better life away from his abusive father and the poverty that surrounds him. Instead, Angel winds up on the Athens' streets as a transvestite prostitute, a situation that eventually lead the distraught young man to a shocking act of violence. Explicit but not prurient and based on a true story. Greek with subtitles.
