Detroit sportswriter Mitch Albom (Azaria) spots his old college prof, 78-year-old Morrie Schwartz (Lemmon), on ABC's "Nightline" discussing his battle with ALS and his thoughts on death. The workaholic Albom, who has not seen Morrie in 16 years, decides to pay his one-time mentor a visit in Boston. The relationship rekindles and they begin to meet every Tuesday, with Albom coming to question the path his life is taking. Based on Albom's best-selling book.
