Apparently producer/director Wong Jing has a score to settle with Jackie Chan. This action/comedy revolves around a drunken action star called Frankie (Cheung) who claims to do all of his own stunts but uses a team of stuntmen, including former cop Kit Li (Li), whose wife and son were killed (in a particularly ridiculous opening sequence) by an evil criminal mastermind (Wong). Who, with his gang, turns up to steal the Russian crown jewels that are being exhibited in a Hong Kong hotel. Think slapstick "Die Hard," although it's virtually impossible for western audiences to figure out where the action ends and the comedy begins.
