Old-fashioned family fare, set in 1913, finds 13-year-old Harry (Clark) setting out on a wilderness adventure in the Canadian Rockies with his dad, Tyrone (Brown). Tyrone is out to capture a grizzly and bring it back (alive) for study. But when Tyrone finds a female grizzly and captures the bear's two cubs, Mom Grizzly gets back at him by making off with Harry. The boy and the bear bond but this interspecies relationship can't last and eventually boy and cubs end up with the right species of parent.
