Mad About Mambo Movie Review 2000

Lucy McLoughlin (Russell) is an upper-class student in Belfast who's determined to prove herself as a Latin dancer. So she teams up with a working-class athlete, Danny Mitchell (Ash), who wants to play pro soccer and who needs to improve his timing, and the duo polish their moves on the dance floor. Appealing wrong-side-of-the-tracks dance/romance that doesn't ignore its setting but doesn't dwell on religious differences and soldiers either.
