Cracks in the Mask Movie Review 1997

Follows Ephraim Bani, a resident of Torres Strait in far north Australia, as he sets out on a voyage to view the elaborate and mysterious tortoise shell masks made by his ancestors. The masks have disappeared from the area where they were created and are all located in foreign museums.
