Using rare footage, historic photos, and exclusive interviews with experts and climbers, this video traces the triumphs and tragedies of exploring Mt. Everest. Series includes: "Everest: The Quest," which details early attempts to explore the mountain; "Everest: The Conquest," the story of the successful 1953 British expedition and "Everest: Tempting Fate," which tells the tragic stories of the unsuccessful climbers.
