Solid TV adaptation of the Henry James novel boasts some fine performances in a now familiar story. Miss (May) is the young, too-impressionable governess at Bly manor, whose charges are the overly well-behaved Miles (Sowerbutts) and his younger sister, Flora (Robinson). Soon Miss is seeing ghosts--those of the former governess and another servant, Peter Quint (Salkey), whom she believes are corrupting her innocent children. But maybe the emotional young woman is simply crazy.
