Defying Gravity Movie Review 1999

Frat boy John Griffiths (Chilson) is hiding a secret from his fellow brothers--he's gay and even has a boyfriend, Pete (Handfield), who's sick of John's lying. Pete is gay-bashed and John agonizes over going to the cops with information if it means his off-campus activities could get out. Good intentions but director/writer Keitel's inexperience (this is his first film) shows in a slow pace and amateurishness.
