Harris makes for one sexy and dynamic priest. He's Father Frank Shore who is struggling with his faith and is in a kind of voluntary retirement. However, he's summoned by power player, Bishop Cahill (Haid), to investigate the purported miracles of the late Helen O'Regan (Sukowa). A cult is growing up around her memory and the mention of sainthood (which requires three proven miracles) has the church wary. Film is set in Chicago in 1979 and based on the book by Richard Vetere.
