Judgment Day Movie Review 1999

A meteor collides with an asteroid in deep space and if fragments from the mishap should hit Earth, it's goodbye planet. One scientist has an idea how to prevent disaster but he's kidnapped by a cult leader who thinks the planet's doom is foretold. Now the government has to get the scientist back before it's too late.
