Blue-blood Brit, Lord Peter Wimsey (Carmichael), investigates the deaths of General Fentiman and his sister Lady Dorland, who both died on the same day. Inheritance to the family fortune depends on who died first, but Wimsey thinks that the deaths themselves are suspicious. Based on the novel by Dorothy L. Sayers.
