Wimpy dentist Oz (Perry) has his life turned to chaos when former hit man Jimmy (Willis) moves in next door, inspiring his wife Sophie (Arquette), who's bored and wants Oz dead for the insurance money, and Jill, Oz's receptionist, who aspires to be a hit woman herself. Sophie nags Oz into a plot to alert Jimmy's former employers of his whereabouts, which brings in a whole bunch of new over-the-top characters, all of whom want somebody dead. While it's true that most of the plot elements are not only ridiculous, but cribbed from other hit man movies, this one works because the actors all do fine jobs (except maybe Arquette), and seem to be having a good time. One of those movies that plays much better on video than on the big screen.
