Poor script but a good lead performance by Donlevy. Harry Melton escapes from prison in order to protect his daughter (who was raised by others) from his blackmailing wife, Flo (Hopkins). This monster mom is threatening to spoil the girl's upcoming marriage by revealing her sordid antecedents. A remake of 1936's "Forgotten Faces."
