Evil Roy Slade Movie Review 1971

Goofy family comedy (a failed TV pilot) that's a parody of every western cliche imaginable. Roy (Astin) is the meanest gunslinger in the west (he was raised by vultures) who's trying to turn over a new leaf after he falls for a pretty schoolteacher. He's aided by a shrink, who wants Roy to give up his weapons fetish, but singing glamour boy lawman Bing Bell (Shawn) has a score to settle with Roy.
