A Murder of Quality Movie Review 1990

Spymaster George Smiley (Elliott) comes to aid of colleague Ailsa Brimley (Jackson) when he agrees to investigate the nefarious goings-on at the Carne School for boys. It seems a schoolmaster's wife predicted her murder and named her husband as the killer. Now she's dead but her husband has a very solid alibi. Based on the novel by John Le Carre.
