The Last Lieutenant Movie Review 1994

Aging Thor Espedal (Skjonberg) is a one-time second lieutenant who has just retired from the Merchant Marines and returned home to his beloved wife, Anna (Tellefsen). But since the year is 1940, his retirement is interrupted by the German Army invading his country. Espedal enlists in the resistance effort but finds the army in complete disarray. Still the old man and a group of volunteers become determined to hold a key mountain pass. Norwegian with subtitles.
