Me & My Matchmaker Movie Review 1996

Mark Wexler set out to make a documentary about Irene Nathan, a Chicago-based matchmaker for Jewish singles. Upon learning that Wexler is half-Jewish, she first tries to set up dates for him (which are captured on film) and as the filmmaker and subject become friends, Wexler realizes that any objectivity he had is long gone--and not to the detriment of the project.
