Mystery Kids Movie Review 1999

Preteens Herford and Baltes spend their summer snooping into the disappearance of high school girl Lakin in order to claim a reward. They first think her boyfriend killed her but then discover Lakin has just run away and is working as a singer in a local bar. So the kids decide to try and reconcile the troubled teen with her family. Innocuous family fare but the two would-be sleuths are good.
