The Scarlet Pimpernel and wife Marguerite head to France to save the daughter of a French nobleman from the clutches of Gabrielle Damiens (Black), AKA Mademoiselle Guillotine, and her band of revolutionaries. The disgraced Chauvelin is also involved and then Marguerite gets captured, so quite a lot of rescuing needs to be done. Based on the books by Baroness Emmuska Orczy.
