Rosetta (Dequenne) is a desperate 17-year-old Belgian who lives in a trailer with her alcoholic mother. Her joyless routine includes caring for her passed-out mom and frantically searching for some kind of employment, even if it means betraying her one friend, Riquet (Rongione), who works at a waffle stand and whose job Rosetta comes to covet. Claustrophobic and depressing. French with subtitles.
