Theatrical fable set in 1941 in a mountainous village shtetl near the Russian border. Schlomo the fool (Abelanski) tells the village elders that the Nazis are on their way. So the Rabbi (Harari) and the villagers decide to construct their own mock deportation train and make their way to Palestine. Mordechai (Rufus) plays the role of the Nazi commandant (a little too well), while the others delegate various roles and the train begins to roll out, with any number of problems along the way. French with subtitles.
