Widowed building contractor Bob (Duchovny) is uneasy about getting involved in a new romance (particularly after some pathetic blind dates) but meets waitress Grace (Driver) and suddenly love is in the air. However, Grace is reluctant to reveal that she's had a heart transplant. But what's she going to do when she discovers that the donor heart came from Bob's beloved late wife. The best romance, however, might be between the testily loving marrieds, the Daytons (Hunt, Belushi), who are Grace's best friends. Directorial debut of Hunt is soapy without being sappy.
