Noah Stone (Williams) is a brewery owner recovering from heart bypass surgery. As if he doesn't have enough to worry about, a crime syndicate wants to use his business as a front in an extortion scam and he's got a day-and-a-half to make up his mind (hence the title). Stone's wife (Cattrall), her ex-cop uncle (O'Connor), and even Stone's bowling team unite to take on the bad guys.
