Amiable, meandering sequel to 1995's surprise hit "Friday" finds Craig (Ice Cube) fleeing to the suburbs to escape Debo (Lister), who's out of prison and looking for payback. Uncle Elroy (Curry) has hit the lotto and moved to the 'burbs, giving Craig, and a whole new bunch of central casting characters a new place to hang out and cause some mischief. The original's biggest success came on home video and cable, and this one's likely to duplicate that pattern.
