The third film in director Gatlif's Gypsy trilogy following "Latcho Drom" and "Mondo." In order to honor his late father, Parisian Stephane (Duris) travels to Romania to track down and record the music of his father's favorite Gypsy singer. He's taken in by village headman, Isidor (Serban), whose own son has just been sent to prison. Isidor and the villagers make their living as musicians and Stephane is drawn ever deeper into their lives until tragedy forces him to make a choice. In French and Romany with subtitles.
