Tess of the Storm Country Movie Review 1922

Pickford remade her own 1914 film for the better, starring as poor Tessibel Skinner, who takes in her lover Frederick Graves' (Hughes) pregnant sister, Teola (Hope), and then says the child is hers to protect the unwed mom from her ruthless father (Torrence). Tessibel temporarily loses Frederick until the truth comes out.
