Southie Movie Review 1998

Another return of the native son drama offers some decent performances but nothing much that is new. Danny Quinn (Wahlberg) is a South Boston bad boy returning to home turf after a sojourn in New York. Danny's pals are tied up with one Irish gangster crew while his own family is involved with oldtimer Colie (Tierney) and Danny himself has a score to settle with longtime rival, Joey (Cummings).
