The Idiots Movie Review 1999

Von Trier uses the stripped back camerawork of Dogma 95 to tell an annoying, pointless story involving a commune-like group of middle-class drop-outs around Copenhagen who spend their time deliberately acting like idiots in public places. They're trying to get in touch with their wounded inner child while you'll want to slap some sense into them. Film provoked controversy because of a group sex scene that (at least) borders on porn. Danish with subtitles.
