The Young Pioneers Movie Review 1976

Teenaged newlyweds David and Molly Beaton head for the Dakota Territory in the 1870s to secure a homestead. They're faced with a blizzard, an army of grasshoppers that destroy their crop, and Molly's pregnancy and find their survival harder than expected. Pilot TV movie for the brief 1978 series.
