Lightning didn't strike twice for Fraser, who successfully starred as Jay Ward's 60s cartoon character "George of the Jungle" and then decided to tackle Ward's brainless-but-noble Canadian Mountie, Dudley. The big goof is still protecting Semi-Happy Valley from the dastardly Snidely Whiplash (Molina), who manages to take over the town and rename it Whiplash City. Snidely is also twirling his mustache in the direction of Dudley's sweetie, fair maiden Nell Fenwick (Parker), which the right-minded Mountie won't allow. Unfortunately, the film only manages a few chuckles.
