Luise, who's the daughter of the town musician, is in love with Ferdinand, the son of President von Walter. Von Walter wants his son to marry the Duke's mistress, in order to increase his own influence. Finding their romance impossible, the lovers come up with a drastic solution. Based on the drama by Friedrich Schiller. German with subtitles.
