The Adventures of Werner Holt Movie Review 1965

Two teenagers, Werner Holt and Gilbert Wolzow, are taken out of school and conscripted into Hitler's army. Gilbert is a fanatical soldier, while the horrors of the front call Werner's loyalties into question. But when Gilbert is executed by the SS, Werner turns his gun on his own side. Based on the novel by Dieter Noll. German with subtitles.
